Fix TikTok connection issues

TikTok connection problems usually come from interrupted login approval, missing business setup, or an account that needs to be reconnected from scratch.

Most TikTok failures are caused by cancelled approval screens, an account that needs business tools enabled, or an older connection that was broken and now needs a full reconnect.

What must be true before you retry

Log into the TikTok account you actually want to connect before starting again.
Complete the approval window all the way through instead of dismissing it early.
If you plan to use business features, make sure the TikTok account is set up for business use inside TikTok.
If this account was connected before and later stopped working, plan on reconnecting it from the beginning.
If your team needs posting features, confirm that setup inside TikTok is finished before retrying.

The failure patterns we expect most often

The approval window did not finish

If the TikTok window is closed or interrupted, the account will not connect even if the first step looked successful.

The account is missing business setup

Some workflows work better once the TikTok account is switched to a business account and the profile setup is completed.

An older connection is stuck

If the account was previously connected and later lost access, repeated retries may not help until you reconnect it from scratch.

TikTok sent you back with a general authorization error

This usually means the approval step did not complete cleanly, or the account is not ready for the feature you are trying to use.
